The long-running saga over Latrell Mitchell’s NRL future has reportedly ended with the representative centre signing a cut-price deal with South Sydney.
A Sydney media report says Mitchell is expected to join the Rabbitohs at pre-season training on Monday, pending the NRL’s salary cap auditor ratifying the contract.
The 22-year-old’s future has been the centre of intense speculation since the Sydney Roosters withdrew their offer of a contract extension.
