Matterson unsure on Titans coaching role

Gold Coast interim co-coach Terry Matterson says he is yet to put his name forward for the NRL club’s head coaching vacancy next season.

Matterson and fellow assistant Craig Hodges are at the Titans’ helm in the wake of Neil Henry’s axing last week.

Matterson, who coached English Super League club Castleford Tigers from 2005 to 2011 and the USA in the 2013 World Cup, said any decision on his own coaching future would be reserved until after the Titans’ final game of the season in Sydney this Saturday against the Sydney Roosters.
