Mansour re-signs with Penrith

Penrith winger Josh Mansour has signed a two-year contract extension which will keep him at the NRL club until the end of the 2018 season.

The hard-working winger earned his NSW debut in game one of this year’s State of Origin series and the Panthers have moved to wrap him up long term.

“It is wonderful to have Josh on board for another two seasons and to be honest I hope he’s here for the rest of his playing career,” Panthers general manager Phil Gould said.

“Josh has been fantastic for our club and is one of the most popular individuals with our players and members.”

Mansour, 26, had been linked with a move to Sydney Roosters but he elected to stay at the foot of the mountains.

He debuted for the Panthers in 2012 and has played 77 NRL games and represented Australia during the 2014 Four Nations series.
