Mal Meninga has been named as the new World All Stars coach after Wayne Bennett opted to step down from the role.
Bennett relinquished the job in order to concentrate on NRL club Brisbane’s pre-season and their World Club Series match in the UK.
Kangaroos coach Meninga will take up the World team’s reins at the All Stars match in Newcastle on February 10.
