Locke out of Warriors’ clash with Souths

Warriors fullback Kevin Locke has been ruled out of Sunday’s round-seven NRL match against South Sydney, still dogged by the leg injury which has sidelined him for the last two away matches.

Locke was named in the team on Tuesday after continuing to work his way back from a heavy cork above his right knee in the March 24 match against Gold Coast.

Utility Krisnan Inu has been called into the Warriors’ squad as his replacement for the match at Mt Smart Stadium.

Inu trained with the Warriors on Thursday and is now set to play his 98th NRL game after last appearing in the Warriors’ 36-20 win over Parramatta last month.

The Warriors’ final line-up is yet to be confirmed, with coach Brian McClennan originally listing six players on the interchange bench.
