Brisbane have been forced to make a late change to their NRL squad to play Parramatta on Friday night with interchange forward Scott Anderson pulling out with a back injury.

Former North Queensland forward Nick Slyney will make his debut for the Broncos off the bench at Parramatta Stadium.

Slyney, who has played five NRL games with the Cowboys, trained with the side at Red Hill on Thursday morning after Anderson injured his back in the gym on Wednesday.
