St George Illawarra have signed centre Tim Lafai to a two-year NRL deal.
The Samoan international was released by Canterbury to make way for NSW State of Origin representative Will Hopoate.
Lafai was in talks with several clubs including Gold Coast, Penrith and the Warriors.
The Titans were in the hunt for a centre after Dally M centre of the year James Roberts departed the club following a contract forgery scandal.
