Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been named to make his Newcastle debut in Friday’s NRL clash with former club Sydney Roosters.

The injury-hit Sydney Roosters have pencilled in Connor Watson to start at fullback, with Mitchell Cornish at hooker for Michael Gordon and Jake Friend respectively.
