Brisbane flyer Jordan Kahu has made a surprise return to the Broncos’ starting side for Friday night’s NRL clash with the Warriors at Suncorp Stadium.
Kahu was expected to be sidelined for up to a month with a quadricep strain suffered in the season-opening win over Parramatta last week.
However, Wayne Bennett confirmed on Thursday that Kahu would slot onto the wing in place of Greg Eden and James Roberts (calf) would also be fit to play, partnering returning Jack Reed in the centres.
Roberts has been on light training duties this week while Reed comes back from shoulder surgery.
