The Sydney Roosters have been dealt a massive blow with prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves to miss the rest of the NRL season.
Waerea-Hargreaves went off in the 12th minute of the Roosters’ top of the table clash with Brisbane at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.
He was taken to an MRI and the club has ruled him out for the rest of their 2015 campaign.
Waerea-Hargreaves has been one of the side’s best this year and arguably the competition’s best prop.
The Roosters also lost halfback Mitchell Pearce inside the first 20 minutes against the Broncos with a hamstring tear and he looks set to miss several weeks.
