JT OK says Queensland

The Queensland camp have dismissed rumours suggesting playmaker Johnathan Thurston was in doubt for State of Origin game II on Wednesday.

Thurston stepped out at Queensland’s final captain’s run at ANZ Stadium on Tuesday as rumours surrounding his fitness spread on social networking site Twitter.

One rumour said the champion North Queensland five-eighth was facing a game morning fitness test.

The media were only allowed to observe about 15 minutes of Queensland’s final training session where Thurston’s involvement was minimal.

Thurston’s NRL club told AAP they were unaware of any injury concerns with the star.
