Josh Reynolds out of Tigers’ NRL opener

Wests Tigers NRL recruit Josh Reynolds might be sidelined for at least a month due to a hamstring injury after pulling out of their NRL season-opener on game day.

It is understood Reynolds had torn his hamstring in the closing stages of Friday’s captain’s run, and has been replaced by veteran Benji Marshall at five-eighth to take on the Sydney Roosters.

Hooker Matt McIlwrick has been added to the bench, while Roosters captain Boyd Cordner will make a surprise start on the bench after swapping with Ryan Matterson.
