Jennings charged by NRL judiciary

Penrith centre Michael Jennings will be free to face Parramatta in the Panthers’ final NRL trial if he makes an early guilty plea for a dangerous throw during Friday’s clash with Newcastle.

The NSW star was placed on report in the 48th minute of the 18-18 draw in Port Macquarie and charged by the NRL judiciary on Monday.

Jennings will be awarded with 93 points for the offence if he accepts the charge and could face the Eels on Friday, but would miss a game should he fight it and lose.
