Jamie Lyon to retire at NRL season’s end

Manly captain Jamie Lyon will retire at the end of 2016 NRL season.

Lyon, 34, confirmed the news on Wednesday at Sea Eagles training, ahead of Saturday night’s clash with North Queensland.

The former NSW and Australian representative has scored 120 tries in 284 NRL games, and won two premierships with the Sea Eagles in 2008 and 2011.
