Ivan Cleary says Nathan Cleary will do a job for NSW if selected at five-eighth for State of Origin II, but denies his future is in the No.6 jumper.

Blues coach Brad Fittler and his selectors are reportedly set to retain Nathan in their side for next Sunday’s must-win clash in Perth however he will be shifted to five-eighth with in-form Mitchell Pearce to be recalled.

Panthers coach Ivan said his son was capable of taking a back seat to Pearce but said he was a No.7 at heart.
