Isaac Liu re-signs with the Roosters

Sydney Roosters have re-signed back-rower Isaac Liu until the end of the 2018 NRL season.

Liu, 24, signed a new two-year deal with the Tricolours on Monday.

“I’ve learnt so much from Robbo (coach Trent Robinson) and the coaches over the last few years, so I’m excited to know that I’ll continue to work on my game and be part of the team we have here,” Liu said.

Robinson welcomed the move.

“Isaac has worked really hard to get where he is today and it’s a credit to the man he is,” Robinson said.

“A man who prefers to let his actions do the talking, Isaac’s commitment to the team is tireless and it’s great to know that he will continue to grow and develop at our club for a further two years.”

The Samoan international has played 70 games for the Roosters since his NRL debut in 2013.
