Wests Tigers veteran Chris Lawrence has guaranteed he will be at Concord next year despite speculation the NRL club is looking to offload him one season before his current deal expires.
Rumours were rife mid-season that the 26-year-old was set to get the tap on the shoulder from the Tigers due to growing salary cap pressures.
However it is skipper Robbie Farah that is now set to get pushed out in a move that would leave Lawrence as the oldest player on the roster next season.
“Next season I’ll be at the Tigers,” Lawrence declared on Tuesday.
