Ben Hunt has sent a scare through the Brisbane camp by suffering an arm injury at training ahead of Friday night’s NRL clash against his future club St George Illawarra.

The fill-in hooker Hunt left training clutching his arm after defensive drills on Tuesday ahead of the showdown with the club he will join next year in a $6 million deal.

Brisbane officials said Hunt appeared to suffer a cork but would be monitored during the week.
