Canterbury halfback Trent Hodkinson will get his first taste of action for 2012 against Canberra in Saturday’s trial clash at Wagga Wagga.

Hodkinson has missed the Bulldogs’ two opening trial fixtures due to off-season knee surgery but has been named on the interchange bench by coach Des Hasler.

England international prop James Graham will start for the first time having been named on the bench for last week’s defeat by Sydney Roosters.

However, there is no place in the side for skipper Michael Ennis who is still recovering from an off-season knee operation.
