Parramatta Stadium has been confirmed as the venue for the final match in the NRL careers of Eels’ veterans Nathan Hindmarsh and Luke Burt.
Eels’ officials confirmed on Wednesday the round-26 clash against St George Illawarra would be played on home turf.
The Eels were looking at having the game moved to ANZ Stadium to accommodate a bigger crowd with Dragons’ stalwart Dean Young also playing his final game.
“It will be fitting for Nathan Hindmarsh and Luke Burt to finish their careers at Parramatta Stadium where they have played so many of their first-grade games and spent time training,” said Eels’ boss Bob Bentley.
“We expect to see a full house here for the game that will also farewell the Dragons’ Dean Young.”
