Code hopper Jarryd Hayne is set to play for his new NRL club Gold Coast on Sunday at home against the Warriors after signing a two-year deal.
The former Parramatta fullback will return to the NRL after trying his hand at the NFL and Rugby Sevens and Titans CEO Graham Annesley says he’s expecting a huge crowd to see Hayne’s club debut on Sunday.
Hayne had previously insisted he would return to the Eels but said on Wednesday he had not received a formal offer from his former club, which has been destabilised by the salary cap scandal.
