Jarryd Hayne is expected to invoke the second year of his $1.2-million NRL deal to stay with the Gold Coast club.
Hayne’s management was meeting Gold Coast CEO Graham Annesley on Thursday morning with a media conference scheduled for 11am.
The news comes hours after Hayne made a triumphant return to the State of Origin arena for NSW.
