Jarryd Hayne has declined to answer questions about the rape allegation he’s facing when fronting media after his return to NRL club Parramatta on Wednesday.
Hayne said a statement would be released shortly after his media conference but he could not discuss the issue as it was a legal matter.
The two-time Dally M medallist has previously denied in a written statement claims from a US civil suit that he raped a 25-year-old woman in late 2015 during his stint in the NFL.
