Guerra faces uncertain Roosters future

Representative back-rower Aidan Guerra is fighting for his Sydney Roosters future after being dumped from the NRL side for Sunday’s clash with North Queensland.

Guerra played in all three State of Origin games for Queensland this year but has been well down on form for the Roosters, and another below-par effort in the loss to Penrith on Monday has resulted in coach Trent Robinson swinging the axe.

Star Roosters back-rower Boyd Cordner says Robinson’s decision shows the players are being held accountable for their performances despite the Tricolours being unable to make the finals.
