South Sydney Rabbitohs fullback Greg Inglis has shortened from $13 into $5.50 to take out the 2012 Dally M medal with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au, only behind $5.00 favourite Jonathan Thurston.
Cooper Cronk is also at $5.50 with Inglis while Billy Slater ($9.00 out from $7.00) and Paul Gallen ($11 out from $9.00) have drifted in recent weeks.
Bulldog Ben Barba ($17 into $11), Benji Marshall ($26 into $21) and Greg Bird ($54 into $26) have all made big moves in Dally M betting.
“Inglis got out to as much as $67 in mid-March and was priced at $17 at the start of May but the punters like what they’re seeing and have got behind him,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
“Billy Slater has attracted the most bets overall however Inglis has narrowed that gap significantly.”
Todd Carney, who is the second best backed in the market, has drifted from $13 out to $26.
