Graham signs new Canterbury deal

Canterbury prop James Graham has re-signed with NRL club for another four years, the club announced late on Saturday night.

The England international who joined the Bulldogs from St Helens at the start of the 2012 season has proved himself to be one of the best front-rowers in the NRL since his arrival at Belmore.

“I’m really delighted to be honest, to be able to have the next four years here is great,” Graham said.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to stay. I’m really enjoying my time here, we play some good footy and its great that I’ll be a part of this side for an extended period.

“Home will always be home but Sydney and Canterbury are home for now and I feel very settled here.

“It’s a good bunch of blokes, a lot of characters in the rooms and its good to know that I will be a part of that. There is a lot more we want to achieve.”

The news comes less than a week after NSW star Andrew Fifita announced he’ll join the club for the start of next season.

Coach Des Hasler is also pleased to have Graham remain at the club.

“When you look at the stats each week, James is consistently at the top of the list,” Hasler said.
