The embattled Gold Coast NRL club has finally received some good news, securing a new major sponsor.
The deal with Aquis is a key part of the club’s rebuild after they were taken over in February by the NRL when put in voluntary administration following financial troubles and a drug scandal.
The Titans subsequently had marquee signing Daly Cherry-Evans backflip on a multi-million deal for next year.
Already the major sponsor of the ACT Brumbies, Aquis has plans to build a multi-billion dollar casino resort near Cairns and has recently purchased land on the Gold Coast, including the former Patinack Farm assets at Canungra.
