Glenn accepts one-match NRL ban

Brisbane second-rower Alex Glenn will miss the side’s blockbuster NRL showdown with Melbourne on Friday after accepting a one-match ban for a crusher tackle.

The club entered a guilty plea for a dangerous contact charge stemming from Thursday’s 47-12 thrashing of South Sydney.

Glenn was cited for a 52nd minute tackle on Rabbitohs halfback Adam Reynolds.
