South Sydney skipper Greg Inglis says he could make his return to the NRL field as early as next week.
It was reported Inglis returned to pre-season training 15kg overweight and would miss the opening two rounds.
However he has rubbished that, saying he could play his first match of the year in next weekend’s Charity Shield against St George Illawarra in Mudgee.
