Frizell ready to finally make Blues debut

Late call up Tyson Frizell admits being disheartened by numerous State of Origin selection near-misses he’s had, but says he’s ready to do the job on debut for NSW debut on Wednesday.

After boarding an early flight in Sydney, Frizell joined his Blues teammates in Coffs Harbour on Thursday morning and was set to be thrust straight into a first field training session.

The St George Illawarra forward, who has been 18th man for three games, was rushed into the team after Wade Graham was suspended at an NRL judiciary hearing on Wednesday night.
