Tyson Frizell has declared himself a certain starter for next week’s State of Origin opener despite again being wrapped in cotton wool during NSW training.
For the first time during team camp, the Blues’ back-rower took part as the side ran at Kippax Lake Field at Moore Park on Friday but wore a non-contact bib as he continued to recover from a head knock.
Frizell said while his build-up wasn’t ideal, he was assured of being cleared to run onto Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.
