Farah signs new Wests Tigers deal

Skipper Robbie Farah has ended speculation about his future by signing a new four-year NRL deal with the Wests Tigers.

The NSW State of Origin hooker was one of the highest-profile players coming off contract at the end of the season and linked with a move to Parramatta or the Sydney Roosters.

The 29-year-old made his debut for the club in 2003 and was part of the 2005 side that won the NRL premiership under Tim Sheens.

Farah will address the media on Thursday morning to discuss his reasons for staying ahead of Friday’s clash with Parramatta at Leichhardt Oval.
