Farah set to be fit for Origin I

Robbie Farah looks set to be retained as NSW hooker for next month’s State of Origin opener with precautionary brain scans reportedly clearing him of major injury.

Farah will miss the Wests Tigers’ clash with Newcastle on Saturday after being hospitalised when knocked out in Sunday’s loss to Canterbury.

The incumbent No.9 underwent scans on Wednesday which cleared him of lingering affects of concussion, according to the Seven Network.

His name looks set to be read out on Monday when coach Laurie Daley names his 17 for game one on June 1.

Farah was taken from the field on a medicab after a collision with Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds.

The 32-year-old was taken to hospital but released later that night.
