NSW hooker Robbie Farah’s bid to play in Wednesday’s State of Origin decider despite a broken hand appears to have come up short.

Several media organisations are reporting Farah has been ruled out of the Blues’ squad ahead of the game-three blockbuster in Brisbane, with Michael Ennis to take his place in the team.

A NSW team spokesman couldn’t confirm the reports to AAP, saying nothing was official until the team sheet was handed in.
