Farah back training with Wests Tigers

Wests Tigers hooker Robbie Farah has returned to pre-season training while his Mexican standoff with coach Jason Taylor appears to be over.

Farah joined his NRL teammates at training on Monday with Taylor saying the NSW No.9 would play in Tigers colours next year if he wanted to.

Earlier this year, Farah was told he was free to negotiate with other clubs and Taylor said it was best if he moved on to a rival club.

Taylor said he was now comfortable working with Farah, who last week informed the club of his intentions to step down as captain.

The Tigers are reportedly close to signing another hooker, Matt Ballin, from Manly on a two-year deal from the 2016 season.

The Manly stalwart has been strongly linked to the move after being told he was unwanted by new Sea Eagles coach Trent Barrett.
