Winger Kalifa Faifai Loa has been released from the final year of his NRL contract with North Queensland to sign with Gold Coast.
The 23-year-old, who managed just seven NRL games in 2013, signed a two-year deal with the Titans.
Faifai Loa will link with former Cowboys coach Neil Henry, who is now an assistant coach at the Titans after being sacked by the Townsville-based club.
The Wellington-born Faifai Loa, who has played two Test matches for New Zealand, joins Maurice Blair and Siuatonga Likiliki as Gold Coast’s outside backs recruits for the 2014 season.
