Parramatta have suspended Kenny Edwards for seven NRL matches and fined him a hefty $60,000 after the forward’s guilty plea to a domestic violence-related assault charge.
The 27-year-old forward will miss the first third of the season to go with his six-month good behaviour bond handed down in Parramatta Local Court this week.
He admitted to spraying his former partner with water and pouring alcohol on her during an argument last December.
