Parramatta forward Kane Evans will play in Sunday’s NRL match against St George Illawarra after Tim Mannah was ruled out with a foot injury.
Mannah was sporting a moon boot this week however isn’t expected to miss an extended period of time.
“If we wanted to, we could get him through but Kane Evans (has) been doing a good job for us at the start of the year and played a couple of reserve grade games so we’ll give him his opportunity,” Eels coach Brad Arthur said on Saturday.
