Parramatta coach Brad Arthur says Mitch Moses’ calf injury is not as bad as first thought and it’s hoped the star halfback will only miss two- to-three NRL games.

Moses left Bankwest Stadium on crutches on Saturday night after hurting himself in the opening half of the Eels’ thrilling golden-point win over Canberra.

But after initially fearing Moses would be sidelined for some time, Arthur is confident the playmaker will be back sooner rather than later.
