Parramatta have appointed Bernie Gurr as the club’s new CEO until the end of the 2019 NRL season.
Gurr was the Sydney Roosters’ boss for nine seasons, overseeing eight straight finals series, three grand finals and the 2002 premiership.
He has spent the past nine years with the Crown Worldwide Group in the United States, but will begin to rebuild the club after its horror year when he starts in late October.
