Dugan still a chance for Origin opener

Josh Dugan is a chance to play the opening State of Origin for NSW, despite fracturing a cheekbone in Australia’s Test win over New Zealand.

Dugan will have surgery on his cheek this week, and is set to miss three weeks for St George Illawarra.

The opening Origin is on May 31, meaning Dugan will not play for the Dragons before the Blues team is selected.
