Dragons duo cited by NRL judiciary

St George Illawarra NRL fullback Josh Dugan faces up to a fortnight on the sidelines after being cited for a shoulder charge on Penrith counterpart Matt Moylan.

Charged with a grade-one shoulder charge, Dugan can lessen his punishment to one week with an early guilty plea for the incident early in his team’s 25-10 loss.

Teammate Nathan Fien was also booked for dangerous contact on Lewis Brown but can take the early plea and avoid a ban.

North Queensland prop Ashton Sims will miss at least two rounds after being hit with a grade-two dangerous contact charge after an alleged knee to the head of Cronulla fullback Nathan Stapleton.

The offence attracts a three-match suspension but Sims can take the early guilty plea and be back in two.
