Parramatta star Kieran Foran hopes his best mate Mitchell Pearce isn’t lost to the NRL in the wake of the Australia Day scandal.
Pearce has left Australia to seek treatment for alcohol problems as the Sydney Roosters weigh up his punishment over the video which shows him simulating sex with a dog.
Eels five-eighth Foran said he was supporting Pearce after he admitted his problems and hopes it doesn’t spell the end of his rugby league career.
