Canterbury coach Des Hasler has hit back at former Bulldogs captain Michael Ennis over his calls for him to be sacked.

The knives are once again out for Hasler and he on Tuesday night fronted the NRL club’s board with suggestions his job could be on the line.

Ennis this week said that Hasler should be sacked after making a mess of their retention and recruitment however the premiership-winning coach said it was easy to make those claims from the outside.
