Penrith halfback Nathan Cleary expects his father Ivan to still play a key role in his career, despite his dad signing as coach of the Wests Tigers.
Ivan Cleary signed a three-and-a-half year deal to coach the Tigers until the end of the 2020 NRL season, but the 19-year-old said his game would still feature in dinner-table chat.
“Just because he’s coaching another team doesn’t mean he can’t help me out with little aspects of my game,” Nathan Cleary said.
