The reigning premiers have not really set the world on fire this season, but have done enough to get themselves into the finals once again. They finished fifth on the ladder, and will again be relevant come this finals series, despite not finishing in the top four. They know now how hard it is to win the premiership and will again work hard to go back to back. They play a North Queensland side who have lost four of the last five, and come into the finals with very little confidence at the moment. The Sharks shouldn’t have any issues here, they are much better placed than the Cowboys are, who just haven’t been in a good state since Jonathon Thurston went down mid season.
