Cronulla Sharks vs Canberra Raiders 2013 NRL Round 10 preview and tips

Cronulla return home for the first time in three weeks and will be looking to make it three wins on the trot when they host the in-form Raiders.

A tough win (21-20) over Newcastle at Newcastle in Round 8 was followed up with a 24-8 victory over the struggling West Tigers.

It was the first time this season the Sharks were able to put together successive wins and with a record of 4-5, sit just outside the eight on for-and-against.

With Souths and Melbourne waiting for them in their next two matches, a win for the Sharks will be vital here.

Canberra have won four of their last five with a dominant 30 point win last week over the Knigths following on from their strong win over Melbourne in round 8.

This vein of form sees the Raiders well placed on 7th spot on the ladder and a win here this week, could see them as high as fourth.

The Raiders are displaying the form that saw them make a late charge into last year’s finals and are a team that can wrack up points, which has been the case on both occasions these two sides have met with Raiders winning 36-4 and 34-16.

This will be a very good game, Cronulla’s defence (fifth in the comp) up against the Raider’s attack (fifth in comp). $2.30 about the Raiders, given their last two weeks’ wins appeals.

TIP: RAIDERS $2.30
