Canberra skipper Jarrod Croker says coach Ricky Stuart’s media walkout was due to frustration at refereeing decisions over several weeks, not just Saturday’s NRL loss to Brisbane.
Stuart barely answered one question before abandoning the post-match media conference after just 24 seconds, with players also refusing to speak to journalists.
“We built up our frustrations and we didn’t want to say something that we would regret,” Croker said on Monday.
