Cowboys players charged for egging: report

North Queensland’s NRL finals preparations have been thrown into disarray after five players were reportedly charged with two counts of wilful damage for throwing eggs.

The players, including one international and another starter, will face court after they were reportedly witnessed egging cars overnight, according to the Townsville Bulletin.

It will be alleged police pulled over the group, including two under-20s players, for a random breath test when a member of the public alerted them to the incident.
