North Queensland hooker Jake Granville will miss up to six NRL games with a broken leg.
Granville fractured his fibula late in the Cowboys’ win over South Sydney on Friday but played on with the injury and the full extent of was only discovered later.
“He’s fractured his fibula unfortunately. It’s not too bad, it’s not a weight-bearing bone. He’ll be out for best-case three weeks, worst-case six weeks,” Cowboys coach Paul Green said on Tuesday.
